Taxi's Piano Bar 7/26/14

We had a solid crowd in San Marcos, TX tonight for our request piano show. All the ladies loved the funky beats Chris Wallis threw down, as I tried my best to have one of them take Chris home, but she just kept saying she was engaged. I was happy to have some friends in the audience, and lots of great requests. Good show!

HEB 7/26/14

I had a great time at HEB in San Marcos today with The Hill Country Gentlemen. Everyone played great, and we ended up with a really good crowd hanging out on the patio with us! We played a bunch of tunes from our forthcoming album release, and they were received well.

AJ's Ale House 7/25/14

After a slight mix-up on the schedule, I joined Roger Glenn in New Braunfels tonight (not at Taxi's, like I had planned). We had a great crowd, and a TON of requests. Several birthdays were also celebrated, and my favorite one was for a woman who didn't want to be on stage, but because she came up, I had several men come serenade her. She left very happy.

I did my thing tonight in New Braunfels, TX for a happy group of Thursday night party-goers. A couple of the interesting requests were "Changes" by Bowie and "Do You Believe In Magic" by Lovin' Spoonful. Thanks to all who hung out with me this evening!

The Angry Elephant (2) 7/19/14

The Angry Elephant in San Antonio now has two locations! This was my first night in the new location, and it was cool. I like the layout very much, and the crowd was involved with Chris Wallis (drums) and me all evening. Granted, there weren't a lot of people there, but this is only week 2, and I'll bet this will become a very popular spot in the future.

Well, I didn't stop believing in Chris Wallis tonight in New Braunfels, Texas, where we took requests all night long. A bachelorette had a little problem with her sash (and I may have made a Chewbacca reference about it), birthday girls were called up on stage, and people danced like it was 1999. Big fun on a busy night was had by all.

Tonight in New Braunfels, Texas, I performed my request piano show, and the crowd was moved. People were so happy I played their requests, they were hugging me and shaking my hand all night. What's kind of random is, for the first thirty minutes or so of the night, I couldn't get anyone's attention! But boy, when I did, they showed me love.

Chris Wallis sounded fantastic tonight on drums in New Braunfels, TX, while I sorted through all the requests on my piano. I was happy to see a bunch of fans made it out, some as far away as Louisiana! My favorite request of the night? Gotta be "Fixer Man", which was the first song of the evening.

The Angry Elephant 7/11/14

Michael Gammon and I performed in San Antonio, Texas tonight. The show was going along fine, and then it reached a whole new level. There was a group celebrating the life of a friend, and they asked us to perform a song in his honor. Of course, we did, and it was a truly emotional experience for all in the bar.

Tess came in on her night off (from bar tending at AJ's) to celebrate her birthday with me in New Braunfels this evening! The crowd was bringing up fun songs all night long, and I was happy to see some of my favorite regulars enjoying themselves and singing some tunes, too! Thanks, everyone for a fun night!

Phoenix Saloon 7/5/14

The Hill Country Gentlemen stormed the stage right after J.J. Garrett band opened the night in New Braunfels, TX tonight. We had a great crowd, and lots of dancers. The Gents sounded great, and we kept the people entertained until about 12:45am. Fun night with a fun band!
