Moonshine & Ale 10/30/15

The amazing Mikey Gammon beat the drums tonight like they owed him money. I sang every song the crowd asked me for, and then sang some more. Life is good, and the rain stayed away during our show. I hope to see everyone next Thursday and Friday when I return to Moonshine & Ale!

Lakeway Resort and Spa 10/29/15

Matt Wilson and I took our show on the road up to Lakeway tonight. We played a show for a group of business professionals together for a conference. They loosened up as the evening went along, and by the end of the evening, they were dancing and asking for us to play more. Thanks to Matt for another successful show!

Circuit Of The Americas 10/25/15

David Lee and I performed a dueling piano show today in Austin, Texas for the F1 race! This show was a little different than most dueling piano shows, because the organizers of the event wanted a set playlist, so everything we played was on a list put out on the tables, and the people got to choose songs from the list. Lots of Johnny Cash, The Band, CCR, and Willie Nelson. It rained quite a bit in the morning, but cleared up by early afternoon. We dealt with the mud, and played a bunch of great music!

Louisiana State Fair 10/23/15

The Hill Country Gentlemen caravaned to Shreveport, Louisiana this evening to perform at the State Fair! It was a fantastic stage with an excellent light show and sound system. I love it when we get to play on the stages like that, because I really get a chance to hear each of the Gents individually. The show was really fun, and the only downside to the evening was the weather. It rained a considerable amount, which kept the big crowds away. Unfortunately, it's going to be raining, I believe, all weekend. We got nothing but smiles and complements after our set, and I hope they have us back next year! Also, a big thank you to Joni for taking pictures of the band. Some will be posted on The Hill Country Gentlemen's Instagram account soon.

Tobin Center 10/22/15

Howl2Go (Howl At The Moon) sent us to San Antonio, TX tonight to perform at the Lionel Richie after party. No, Lionel was not there, but a giant portrait of him done in flowers was! The dueling piano show tonight went great. I was on one piano, while Matt Wilson was on the other one. Also tonight, we had drummer Chris Wallis and bassist Jimmy McFeeley. Always fun doing gigs with great musicians! Thanks to the Tobin Center for having us!

SellSmart Real Estate 10/21/15

The private party in New Braunfels went great tonight! Lots of great costumes on the folks there to mingle and talk about their role in the real estate world. I had some great requests and some singers & dancers. Thanks for including me in the event, SellSmart!

Rancho La Mision 10/17/15

What a beautiful night in San Antonio! Chris Wallis and I performed at Terri & Chris Nelligan-Davis' wedding reception, and it was great. The bride and groom have been out to see me perform several times in New Braunfels, and so they decided when their big day came, I'd be the one to entertain. The requests came up steadily all evening, and the great Chris Wallis helped me knock out each one with his rock-solid drum beats. Eddie Baty also joined us on this show, and he even had a chance to sit in on drums and play a couple tunes. Thanks to the newlyweds for having us, and congratulations!

Moonshine & Ale 10/15/15

Thursday night in New Braunfels brought out a crowd of fun folks to sing along with me! It was a fairly low-key night, but everyone still had fun requesting tunes for me to try. Thanks everyone for hanging out with me tonight!

The Green Door 10/9/15

Awwww, yeah! Joe Renick and I rocked Temple, Texas to its core tonight. People couldn't stay in their seats, which makes me feel good. I felt pretty rejuvenated by the time we finished the show at 1:30am. I had to drive a couple hours home, but I was riding well with all the energy from the crowd and the amazing Joe Resnick!

Horseshoe Bay Yacht Club 10/8/15

Matt Wilson and I performed a Howl2Go (Howl At The Moon) dueling piano show in Horseshoe Bay, Texas tonight at a company party for Jensvold Insurance. We played outside on a deck, right next to the water, and the weather was perfect for it! Eddy Baty tagged along to help with setup and teardown, and he took some great pictures of the show for us. Thanks Eddy.

Guenther House 10/3/15

The Hill Country Gentlemen performed at a wedding this evening in San Antonio. The band sounded fantastic, and the wedding party looked great. We all took turns singing tunes until the sun went down! I love gigging with the Gents!

Moonshine & Ale 10/2/15

I don't know what was in the water tonight in New Braunfels, but it made people weird. Mikey Gammon and I played for three long hours to a crowd full of characters. Also, my buddy Joe Maddox was there and sat in on a few tunes much to the delight of the crowd. Mikey killed it on "Hotel California", and the crowd went wild.

Moonshine & Ale 10/1/15

My buddy, Joe Maddox, joined me tonight in New Braunfels for an extremely slow night. We still played three hours worth of music, and sometimes it was just to a couple people, but I still enjoyed my night with Joe! Ashley and Shauna were working the bar, and they told me Randy Rogers was watching us for a bit. So now Joe can leave Texas knowing he played for Randy Rogers.
