Rockin J Piano Bar 10/24/26

 

All smiles in Cedar Park tonight! We got to see some of our friends who haven’t been able to make it to a show in a while, and we solved mysteries with the Scoobie gang. Heather and I have worked hard this week, and this was a fun way to cap off our weekend together. We’ll be back at Rockin J on Saturday November 14th. P.S. Texas Rodeo Saloon 10/23/26

 

We brought the full band to Katy, TX, tonight for a Jimmy Buffett night at Texas Rodeo Saloon. We had a bunch of parrot heads out to dance and listen to the music. I was really happy to have several people come tell me about their Buffett experiences, and to let me know how good we sounded! This band takes the music seriously, and we had a bunch of fun doing it. Cam Martin was on drums, Pancho Garza on guitar, Heather Shook on bass, and I played keys and some percussion. We will be back on December 18th with a half Fleetwood Mac, half Eagles show. Join us! 

Moonshine & Ale 10/22/26

 

Live Band Karaoke started off a little slow, but things picked up by about 10p. We had people singing everything from “Hound Dog” to “Mr Brightside” to “My Way” to “Strawberry Wine”. We even had back-to-back renditions of “Tennessee Whiskey”! Pancho and Heather and I once again locked in and had a bunch of fun playing for the crowd. See you next Thursday at Moonshine & Ale! 

Moonshine & Ale 10/17/26

 

New Braunfels was celebrating Dia de los Muertos Tonight downtown, and there were some really amazing costumes and vendors everywhere within a few blocks. Heather and I wanted around together a bit before our show to take it all in. Ryan Hall joined us on drums tonight, and all three of us followed each other through lots of requests we didn’t know if we knew or not. Turns out, we did know them, so all is well. Thanks everyone for a fun weekend at Moonshine & Ale, and thanks to Ryan for following us through mayhem!

Some don’t understand how special music is for me. I am truly grateful for being able to perform for a living. I have the best stage partner in Heather that anyone could ever hope to have, and our crowds give so much love that it makes me happy. I’m not sure anyone even knows my name or that I write music, but it sure is nice being on stage every week performing for grateful audiences!

Heather, Pancho and I had a great time together at Live Band Karaoke in New Braunfels.  They are both such great humans. I feel lucky whenever we share the stage. We had a few new faces in the crowd tonight, and tons of compliments. It makes me feel good! 

The Aristocrat 10/11/26

 

The Long Lost Locals performed in Austin for a quick 45 minute set at The Aristocrat, followed by a band called The Crowns. We performed a bunch of Nathan Hanners original songs which we recorded recently with him for a forthcoming album. Cool venue, and the Crowns sounded great, too! 

Victoria’s Moonshine Drinkery 10/9/26

 

We had a blast bringing our Live Band Karaoke show to all of our friends in Victoria, TX, at Moonshine Drinkery! Heather’s birthday is this Sunday, so the staff at the bar brought her a cake and a bunch of candy & cookies. They are such great people, and Pancho is realizing each show why we always love coming back here. We had lots of great singers, and the bar was full all evening. It was also great to see several of our favorite regulars out at the show, too. The three of us always feel the love here! 

Moonshine & Ale 10/8/26

 

Thursday night found me back in New Braunfels with my bandmates Pancho and Heather for Live Band Karaoke! One group was dressed as different characters from “Shrek” and sang “All Star” with us. One of our regulars was celebrating her birthday, and we generally had a bunch of fun with everyone! We will be performing our Live Band Karaoke show tomorrow night (Friday night) in Victoria, TX, so join us! 

Texas Rodeo Saloon 9/27/26

 

Tonight, we performed in Katy, TX, at Texas Rodeo Saloon for Live Band Karaoke! Our showtime is now 7p-10:30p which helped the show. We had quite a few singers join us on stage, and they had a contest going for top three singers. Pancho, Heather and I really always have a great time in Katy! 

Rockin J Piano Bar 9/25/26

 

It’s been a bit since we performed in Cedar Park at Rockin J, and it was fun! Our friends from the glow stick brigade showed up and stayed with us all night. It being Dolly Day (9-25), we had a couple Dolly songs requested, and a bunch of women came in dressed for the occasion. Heather sounded great as always, and I’m glad everyone had fun at our show.

Lots of people were in New Braunfels tonight for our Live Band Karaoke show. We pulled up everyone we could within our time to sing with us, and had some great singers. We will be back next week for more fun! Oh, and Frank sang twice with us tonight. 

Texas Rodeo Saloon 9/20/26

 

We played Live Band Karaoke again tonight in Katy, TX  I was glad to meet several new singers, and a we had a bunch who joined us last week return. My sister-in-law joined us for a song, which was nice to have her up with us. The bar had a giveaway to the best singer tonight, and a guy named Alex won $100 from the judges. I spoke to one singer who told me it took her two bus changes and about an hour to come to the show, and she said she’d do it again for us. That made me nearly cry! 

Moonshine & Ale 9/19/26

 

We had a packed house for “Rock” night at Moonshine & Ale in New Braunfels, TX. Alex Lugwa joined Heather and I for the show, and we had some great songs requested. Everything from “Message In A Bottle” to “Twilight Zone” to “Give It Away” were all requested. Our friends from England who caught our show last night came back in for more tonight. We had lots of birthdays celebrating as well, and it was a good night all around!

Heather and I had a good crowd tonight in New Braunfels, TX, at Moonshine & Ale. Special shout out to our fans from Manchester, who were in town tonight for a wedding between a Mancunian and a Texan. I was a Hoosier when I married a Mancunian, so it was great having them celebrate like Christine and I did! We had a great time with everyone, and we will return tomorrow night for more piano bar!

Live Band Karaoke went well tonight in New Braunfels. Pancho, Heather and I welcomed our mutual friend Alex up for a song on drums tonight. He’ll be helping us out from time to time, so it was nice to have all of us together. Our various singers were enthusiastic, and we had lots of positive feedback from the crowd. Thanks to everyone for hanging out with us. Heather and I will be back for piano bar Friday and Saturday night! 

Texas Rodeo Saloon 9/13/26

 

Our first Live Band Karaoke show took place in Katy, TX, tonight at Texas Rodeo Saloon. Heather and I explored around Katy after we checked out of our (weird) AirB&B, and had some great food at Babin’s Seafood House before heading to the club to meet up with Pancho with his amazing electrified guitar. My brother and sister-in-law came out, as well as my nephew who brought a friend. It’s nice to see them, and to meet all of our new fans who sang with us tonight. The sound system was fantastic, with a big thanks to the sound engineer Willie. We will be back the next three Sundays to have more singers join us on stage!
