Moonshine & Ale 4/29/22

Our night started out slow, but by the end of the first hour, the club in New Braunfels packed out! This was Heather’s 2nd of 3 bachelorette shows, and she sounded amazing. I feel lucky every show I get to perform with her!

Moonshine & Ale 4/28/22

Heather started her three-day bachelorette party on stage tonight with Pancho and I. Live Band Karaoke went great, and Heather and I swapped between keys and drums. We’ll be back for piano bar both Friday and Saturday this weekend!

Hilton Austin 4/26/22

We performed a dueling pianos show tonight in Austin, TX, at an awards celebration for employees of IBM. They had us in the center of the ballroom on two acoustic pianos, and then gambling stations all around the outside edge of the ballroom. Heather and I could barely see each other, but it was fun and sounded great.  Groove Labs provided the production and hired us for the show, so thank you to them!

Rockin J Piano Bar 4/23/22

What a great show to cap off our insane four days of traveling, gigs, and personal obligations! Heather and I were both happy to find a packed house when we arrived in Cedar Park, Texas. We had many fans waiting for us, and the requests started coming in a half an hour before we started performing. We laughed our way through three solid hours of music, and even though we were sleep deprived, we still had a ton of energy left at the end of the night!

This past Wednesday, we had a private Dueling Pianos show, so Heather drove down from Fort Worth and I drove from San Marcos, and we met in Bourne, TX. After that show, Heather had to drive back to Fort Worth because she had to do her final fitting for her wedding dress, and they only would do it on Thursday afternoon. I moved my father-in-law into a new house while she was picking up her dress, then she drove from Fort Worth to meet me in New Braunfels to perform another private event Dueling Pianos show. Afterwords, we went to Live Band Karaoke (not to play, just just to show our support) before heading back to my house in San Marcos. We got up Friday morning and had to run a few errands before heading to Houston near NASA for a show, and as we were getting ready, Heather got a call saying that her family were all going to meet in Port Aransas this morning at 7am for an impromptu memorial service to honor her grandmother’s passing, so I offered to drive her there so she could sleep in the car and be able to get some rest. So Friday afternoon at 4:30pm, we headed towards NASA to play a show, finish the show, got in the car and drove to Port Aransas, where we arrived at our motel at 5am. I slept while she took care of her family business, and we got in the car at noon to head back to San Marcos, where we both took naps until it was time to leave for our show in Cedar Park tonight. After the show, she headed back to Fort Worth, and I headed home to San Marcos.

All this info to say I ended up driving 909 miles in four days, she drove an additional 912 miles totaling 1,821 miles in the car for her to bring 11 hours of music to people! No wonder I’m tired.

Rockey’s Houston 4/22/22

Tonight, we traveled out to Rockey’s Piano Bar near NASA. We had a wide variety of requests and everybody seem to have a really good time. Heather and I always have a really good time when we play together. Our favorite request of the night was “Psycho Killer” by the Talking Heads!

Chandelier of Gruene 4/21/22

Comal Education Foundation had us back for their fundraiser this year! We loved the venue and had a great time helping raise money for the foundation. They had a silent auction, dinner, and a heads or tails game along with us for entertainment. Heather and I enjoyed having Chris Wallis on the drums, and the night flew by!

Tapatio Spring 4/20/22

Our private dueling pianos event in Boerne for Greystar was a ton of fun! That group wanted to sing with everything, dance and laugh with Heather and me. Lots of songs from every genre were brought up, and we played as many as we could during our 2.5 hour show. We were originally just hired for 2 hours, but they wanted us to keep going, so we did! Thanks to Greystar and Tapatio Springs for having us perform!

Moonshine Drinkery 4/16/22

We headed back to Victoria, TX, to perform for our friends at Moonshine Drinkery! We played about 3.5 hours of non-stop requests. We always have interesting requests there, and tonight was no exception. I love playing shows with Heather, and we really make a great team!

Moonshine & Ale 4/15/22

Tax day was totally ignored by everyone at our show in New Braunfels tonight! Not one mention of it, but we did have an amazing night. Heather and I make the best team, and I’m lucky to be with her because we can tackle such a huge number of songs together. We had more compliments on our show tonight, and each one made me feel great! Thanks everyone for a great time!

Moonshine & Ale 4/14/22

Heather, Pancho and I had a busy night at Live Band Karaoke! So many new people and new song selections made the evening fly by. One of our regulars said it was his last night for the foreseeable future because he’s moving to Michigan, and we picked up a few people who said they’d be back every week. I’m so happy we get to do something that brings joy to New Braunfels, TX!

Rockin J Piano Bar 4/9/22

Together again! I love every show I get to perform with Heather. She’s a rock star, whether on drums or piano. Tonight we had some crazy requests, and we played them all! “Owner Of A Lonely Heart” was probably my favorite one that hit the piano tonight!

Moot Music Cafe 4/8/22

Today on Facebook, I had my buddy Chris Wallis join me to take some requests on Moot Music Cafe’s page. We ran through so many random songs that it made my head spin! Mid-show, I found a bobby-pin and introduced it as Heather. We then derailed the show discussing why it would be so much better for Heather at her wedding to have, instead of a flower girl, a bobby-pin girl who would fling bobby-pins instead of flower pedals.

Moonshine & Ale 4/7/22

My night started at the Cyber Rodeo at the Giga Texas Tesla factory grand opening! It was fun to have some time to hang out with my wife before I headed to New Braunfels. Chris Wallis filled in for Heather tonight at Live Band Karaoke with me and Pancho. He did a great job keeping the show moving forward and rotating through all the singers. This was a fun, long day!

Moonshine & Ale 4/2/22

Tonight, we played in New Braunfels at our home-away-from-home, Moonshine & Ale! Heather and I were joined by Chris Wallis on drums, and the crowd kept bringing us requests all night long. I love my job!

Running M Bar & Grill 4/1/22

Heather and I played in Gonzalez, TX, tonight! We had a bunch of fans show up which made everything more fun. We played from 8p-11:30p, and we still didn’t get through all the requests on the piano! I always enjoy our shows at Running M.

Moonshine & Ale 3/31/22

Live Band Karaoke started off really slow tonight, and the few people who were there, didn’t want to sing. Then, 45 minutes into our show, the club packed out and we had tons of requests to come sing with us! Heather and Pancho sounded great, and I’m happy whenever we get to play together!
