Sean Patrick’s Irish Pub 5/26/23

Thanks to Sarah Squyres for capturing a little video of Chris Wallis and I tonight in San Marcos. My camera didn’t take a single shot, so I grabbed this still from her video. We had a good crowd, and lots of requests we’ve never gotten before. Inxs “New Sensation”, Cyndi Lauper “Good Enough” and The Beatles “It’s Only Love” were all first-timers for me. Chris sounded great, as he always does! As we were packing up after the show I looked down at the stage and saw one of Heather’s hair ties. She hasn’t been here for a month, but it makes no difference. I see them everywhere she’s been.

Moonshine & Ale 5/25/23

I love getting to work with Heather! She always keeps my spirits up. I met up with her and Anthony (guitar) in New Braunfels, TX, for Live Band Karaoke. We had several familiar faces come and sing with us, and had some people in the audience we hadn’t seen in a long time! It was a fun night.

Moonshine & Ale 5/20/23

We took requests tonight in New Braunfels, along with drummer Chris Wallis! We saw some friends in the crowd, like Sam and Brandon and Ryan, and we also had a half-dozen Guy Fieris. They were all part of a bachelorette party for a bride-to-be whose future last name will be Fieris. Heather sang them “All the Guy Fieris” to the tune of “All The Single Ladies” which had us both laughing! It was a fun night!

Moonshine & Ale 5/19/23

Before our show in New Braunfels tonight, Heather and I walked to Faust Brewery for some dinner and to see a few friends of ours who were performing. Mike Atkins and his son were playing with Pancho Garza, and they sounded great! We ate a burger, then headed to do our show. Michael Carrandi was also at the show tonight, so we got a chance to catch up a little with him before and after our fun-filled night. Heather and I will be back tomorrow night to take more requests!

Moonshine & Ale 5/18/23

We had a busy night in New Braunfels for Live Band Karaoke tonight! Pancho, Heather and I locked in tight with each other as we backed up lots of singers. Sometimes, lots of singers all at once. Heather and I will return this weekend for piano bar, so come see us!

Moonshine & Ale 5/11/23

I played drums tonight in New Braunfels, TX, for Live Band Karaoke with Pancho Garza on guitar, and from Arkansas, Pamela Hopkins on keys! My partner Heather took this week off. We had a full room of singers tonight. We ran through two full sets of people wanting to share the stage with us. Pamela did great for her first LBK night, and she’ll be at Moonshine & Ale for the rest of the weekend. I’m heading to the beach for a couple days. See everyone next Thursday!

Fiesta Winery 5/6/23

We headed to Lometa, TX, to Fiesta Winery to perform to a fantastic crowd! We had some fans show up, and many people who had not seen us before, and we got to play requests from all of them. Heather couldn’t be with me last year when I performed here, but she was loving the vibe, just like I do! My wife, Christine, took a bunch of great shots during the night, so a big thanks to her. We can’t wait to return next year, and I hope the anniversaries and birthdays from this year’s crowd will return to celebrate with us then!

Muck & Fuss 5/5/23

DanHolmesGroup played in New Braunfels, TX, tonight while simultaneously live-streaming on our Facebook page. If you’d like to see our show, it’s saved on our page, so check it out! Chris Wallis joined me on drums, and we performed from 7p-10p. As a bonus, our friend Brett Cline was performing with his group at the venue next door, so we got a chance to see each other’s groups for a minute!

Moonshine & Ale 5/4/23

May the Fourth be with you! I took my stormtrooper guitar to Live Band Karaoke for Pancho to use to celebrate the day, and I wore my Star Wars shoes. Heather and I were happy to help all of our singers through their songs tonight, even the guys who couldn’t keep their shirts on.
