Chris Wallis joined me in San Marcos to play at a new restaurant near the square called Aquabrew. We played a couple hours worth of tunes, including a bunch of originals and some of our favorite tunes by other artists. Chris was using an Alesis drum pad for the first time, and he sounded great! I'm scheduled back at Aquabrew next Thursday, starting at 7p, so come check out the new hip spot in town!

Enchanted Springs Ranch 3/26/16
Tonight, I performed at a wedding in Boerne, TX with Howl2Go (Howl At The Moon) with Tommy, Chris and Kevin. I had a blast dueling with Tommy again, and the crowd always loves him. Chris and Kevin were rock-solid as always as the rhythm section. The wedding party and their guests filled the dance floor all night long, and it made the night fly by. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Moonshine & Ale 3/25/16
Mikey Gammon drummed tonight while I played piano for the folks at Moonshine & Ale in New Braunfels. Solid crowd bought us lots of great requests. I live-broadcast a couple tunes on my All Request Piano Facebook page. You should go watch them!

Jack's Roadhouse 3/24/16
I played at a fund raiser today with drummer Abe Combest in San Marcos to benefit a local family who lost their young son recently. A sad set of circumstances brought out a wide variety of musicians to help raise some money by playing some music and encouraging donations. It'll be going for a couple more hours, so if you hurry, you can help out, too.

Moonshine & Ale 3/18/16
New Braunfels saw stormy weather this evening, but the party still went on with Mikey Gammon and I. We had a good crowd, and they brought us up lots of requests. Thanks to Mikey for a second-night-in-a-row fun show!

Moonshine & Ale 3/17/16
What a crazy St. Patrick's Day in New Braunfels! Mikey Gammon (drums) played a fantastic show, and we were joined for the first time by the extremely talented saxophonist, Greg Williams. We played a solid show from 8:30pm - 11:45pm of nothing but upbeat, danceable tunes, and enjoyed the moments when the stage was taken over with dancers. Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

Sean Patrick's 3/17/16
The Hill Country Gentlemen played in San Marcos today for St. Patrick's day. I had a great time playing with the fellas. It was a little warm & muggy, so the crowd kept still while trying to keep cool, but they were appreciative of us! I always look forward to gigs with the Gents.

Moonshine & Ale 3/12/16
It was a strange evening in New Braunfels. Lots of people, lots and lots of birthdays, tons of requests, and not many were popular tunes. Everything from Led Zeppelin's "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do" to Hendrix's "Hey Joe" to Billy Ocean's "Caribbean Queen". Chris Wallis nailed every tune to the wall. I love playing with Chris. He made my odd night go by really fast! A big thank you should be mentioned to the crowd for keeping the fun and bizarre requests coming up all night long.

Phoenix Saloon 3/11/16
The Hill Country Gentlemen took over New Braunfels tonight! I had a great time with Clay (drums), Jer (bass), Kevin (guitar) and Troy (acoustic). The band, as always, sounded great. So many dancers filled the floor that I didn't want to stop playing. Also, we had lots of friends in the crowd, and it was nice getting a chance to catch up with them on our break!

Muddle 3/5/16
My fourth and final show in a 17 hour stretch, (in four different cities), took place in Waco, Texas. Yep. Houston, Manor, San Marcos and Waco, about 600 miles total, and tonight was a good way to finish an insane stretch of shows, with my friend, Joe Resnick on the drums. Our good night started off with many ballad requests, such as "She's Always A Woman" and "Still Crazy After All These Years" and ended with dance pop tunes like "Shake It Off" and "Billie Jean". As an added bonus, I threw in SpongeBob SquarePants just for fun.

Zelicks Icehouse 3/5/16
The Hill Country Gentlemen performed tonight at 6:40pm in San Marcos to help celebrate Texas Independence Day. I really wanted to play the show with them, but knowing I had a gig in Waco at 9:30pm, The only way I could make it happen was to bring the most portable keyboard rig I could. So, yes, I played the Roland AxSynth. I was able to play a few tunes with them before I had to get on the road, and I had a great time! A big thank you to my wife, Christine, for helping me make it happen, and for also taking some photos of the band!
Manor New Tech High School 3/5/16
My good friend (guitarist) Kevin Humphry teaches at Manor Tech. They had event this morning which he asked Chris Wallis (drums) and me to perform with him for, so we showed up bright and early at 8:30am to play some blues for some students! Fun and different shows with some good friends keep me happy!
Hilton Houston North 3/4/16
Howl2Go (Howl At The Moon) sent my team to Houston tonight to play for a company's customer appreciation party. Gray Gregson (piano), Kevin Humphry (bass), and Chris Wallis (drums) joined me onstage to take requests from the crowd. We had many, many, many requests brought up to us, and the crowd was really complimentary after our show!
We finished, and began our load-out (with lots of help from Eddie Baty, our road crew/photographer), when we hit a snag with our equipment trailer. The spring which helps the door open & closed came off its track, and it took us a little while to figure it out, but these musicians I work with pulled together by not only fixing the door, but loading out in record time! A major repair only lost us about 20 minutes! Thank you to my four travel buddies for all your hard work.
