Another good night in San Antonio this evening! I dueled the night away while playing bunches of requests. Good dancing and singing from the crowd, and fun was had by all!

Howl At The Moon 6/26/16
Good crowd tonight in San Antonio! I rotated from piano to drums to bass (that's me on bass in the picture) as did all the players who I shared the stage with. I think it was a large convention mostly, and they were very complimentary every time I was off stage. I'll be back tomorrow night!

Moonshine & Ale 6/25/16
I was a drummer (with piano benifits) tonight in New Braunfels. The talented David Lee was the pianist (with drum benefits), and I had lots of fun trading off instruments him. The crowd was loud and ready to sing and dance, which made the evening go by quickly. I'm glad I was available to be his drummer tonight!

Gourdough's Public House 6/24/16
Eddie Baty and I rocked Austin last night. We kept it weird, like they like it up there. The crowd was a little standoff-ish at first, but we had some good requests by the end of the evening. Eddie played some tunes he'd never played before, and he knocked them outta the park. Great job, Mr. Baty!

Grind House Coffee & Cocktails 6/23/16
I played tonight in Kyle, TX! I had a bunch of requests, including David Bowie, Billy Joel, and quite a few Motown tunes. I played more than a few requests tonight which I have never tried, which made the show fun! Thanks everyone for the challenges you brought me!

The Villas At Sundance 6/21/16
Chris Wallis and I performed at an apartment complex at a private event for their residents tonight! We kept them dancing and singing along to the songs the crowd requested. My favorite request was from someone who wanted to hear "Cotton Eyed Joe" (who had also requested it at another show they'd been to of mine). We played it, and they shook their head and said, "No, that's not it." After a minute on their phone, they came back with, "Copperhead Road". Close, I guess!

Howl At The Moon 6/20/16
Never a dull moment in San Antonio! I once again filled in with the Howl crew to a hopping Monday night crowd. Katie and I were partnered up, and we switched off every-other-hour, like ya do. Thanks to everyone who hung out with us tonight!
Howl At The Moon 6/19/16
Mark, Katie, Tommy and I played in San Antonio this evening to a small crowd. Katie was my partner tonight, and we had a good time throwing random tunes back and forth all night. I'll be back tomorrow night for more!

Gourdough's Public House 6/18/16
Eddie Baty (drums) joined me onstage tonight in Austin for a show fueled by requests from the crowd. I enjoy performing with Eddie! He's new to this style of show, but he fit in like he'd done it a thousand times. We had lots of odd-ball requests, and he nailed all of them. Great job, Eddie!!!

Moonshine & Ale 6/17/16
I played with Mikey Gammon tonight in New Braunfels. We had a huge crowd, and I enjoyed playing everyone's requests! Mikey did a great version of a Beastie Boys tune this evening! My favorite request tonight was "Born On The Bayou". I love that tune!

Gourdough's Public House 6/16/16
Dave Lovett played drums while I played piano tonight on 5th street in Austin, Texas. We took a whole bunch of requests, and every once in a while, we would swap instruments. Dave is a pretty awesome musician, not only on drums and piano, but also on guitar. I always enjoy performing shows with him!
Moonshine & Ale 6/15/16
I took the AxSynth keytar out to New Braunfels tonight as part of the bi-weekly farewell to the 80s tour with Rock Coreys. I'm so proud of what this group has achieved since '86. Always one unit, indivisible, band of Corey-named musicians playing nothing but 80s tunes. I would like to personally thank every Corey for making these shows so epic. See you somewhere, sometime, but it will always feel like the musical equivalent of the way neon looks.

Howl At The Moon 6/14/16
Heather, Ed, Adrain and I played to a packed house in San Antonio tonight. Lots and lots of teachers filled the club and gave us endless requests. Of course, I ended the night with "School's Out" by Alice Cooper with the crowd singing loudly!

Howl At The Moon 6/12/16
I once again joined up with the San Antonio crew to play a whole bunch of requests for the people on the river walk. It was bunches of fun playing with them! The night saw a couple of "show times" with the full bar staff joining us onstage to dance. Also, it was Jessarae's last night performing, so it was good to get a chance to play with her!

Moonshine & Ale 6/11/16
So many out-of-towners filled the club in New Braunfels tonight that I lost count. Huge wedding party from Michigan, girls from Ft. Worth, guys from Mexico, I'm telling you, lots of travelers came out to party with Joe Resnick and me. Gigantic, drunken, peaceful partiers. Who could ask for more?

Wedding 6/10/16
The Hill Country Gentlemen played a wedding reception in San Marcos tonight. It was warm out, but a beautiful night to perform outside! Lots of dancing to not only our original tunes, but to a few "special requests" given to us ahead of time. It was fun playing some new tunes with the Gents!

Grind House Coffee & Cocktails 6/9/16
Great evening in Kyle, Texas tonight! I had lots of requests and lots of people singing along. It was a little rainy when I first arrived, but it cleared up within the first hour, and the place filled up. Thanks for the requests, Kyle!!!!
Moonshine & Ale 6/8/16
Rock Coreys had a great night in New Braunfels playing 80s tunes tonight! Corey played his instrument better than the other Coreys, but he didn't brag. These fellas are truly some amazing musicians, and I'm happy every chance I get to perform with them. Thanks to everyone in the crowd for making our evening so much fun!

La Fonda On The Plaza 6/4/16
Yesterday, Gray Gregson, Kevin Humphrey, Eddie Baty and I hopped in my truck and drove 12 hours to Santa Fe, New Mexico. We got some much needed rest at a cool & funky old motel before heading to the elegant hotel where we performed a show for Howl2Go (Howl At The Moon) for the Ritter-Dougherty wedding. It went great, and the crowd danced to every song we played. Eddie & Kevin were a fun rhythm section for Gray and I to play piano with. A highlight of the evening was when the bride and her sisters took over singing duties on "Me & Bobby McGee". They sounded great! After a fun & energetic show, we tore down our gear and headed back to the motel to get some sleep before our 12 hour car ride back to Texas tomorrow!

Gourdough's Public House 6/2/16
Tonight was the premier of all-request piano night in Austin, and it went great! From 8pm-11pm, drummer extraordinaire Joe Resnick helped me fill all the requests laid upon my piano. Another friend and excellent drummer, Mikey Gammon was there, too, and sat in for a few tunes!
It's gonna be a fun room to do our show in, and I want to thank owners Paula and Ryan for making it happen!
Moonshine & Ale 6/1/16
Rock Coreys rocked every 80s tune you could think of tonight in New Braunfels! Some tunes were so beautiful, I cried like I did at the end of E.T. Others were so joyous, I laughed like I was watchingReal Genius. See you next week for some more 80s fun!
