Heather Ray and I set up at a bridal vendor showcase in Springtown, TX, tonight to pass out info on All Request Piano. I hope to be playing some weddings together in the near future! We passed out a lot of information, and had many happy couples tell us that they thought we would be a good fit for their entertainment. Heather and I have a strong show together, and people could tell it just in the short amount of time they were there. I’m excited to see what the future brings from this experiment!

Austin Convention Center 7/30/19
All Request Piano (with Heather Ray and I) performed a show at 10:30am (after load in at 7:30am) and finished at 11am, for the folks attending the Scentsy convention. I wasn’t sure if we’d get requests, but we sure did! The crowd sang and danced to our half-hour performance. Afterwards, Heather and I headed to get pizza at Via 313. Mmmmmm.

Greek Bros Oyster Bar & Grill 7/27/19
Such a fun night with a bunch of my favorite people out in El Campo, Texas, tonight! My wife, Christine, came with me and took a bunch of great pictures, and then hung out with my brother and sister-in-law to watch the show I performed with Heather Ray and Chris Wallis. We had a great crowd, and after the show, a line formed at the front of the stage to meet us. One woman told us that our performance brought her to tears when she heard us get the whole crowd singing in unison. Another couple had just gotten married just hours before our show and stayed all night to celebrate with us. It was a good night. Oh, and Heather and Chris are awesome people and musicians, which makes my job even better.

Moonshine & Ale 7/26/19
Amy and I teamed up on the crowd in New Braunfels, TX, for my 2nd of two shows today! They were in full-on sing along mode, and we made the most of it. It was a bunch of fun. On a slightly down note, tonight was the last time I got to see bartender/manager Corrine before she moves on to bigger and better things. She’s been here for a long time, and she’ll definitely be missed. Best of luck in your new endeavors, Corrine!!!

Typhoon Texas 7/26/19
I joined Gray Gregson and Chris Wallis poolside on another hot Friday afternoon in Pflugerville, Texas. We played a dueling pianos show for the swimmers and people hanging around the park from 5 PM until 7 PM. Now, I’m off to New Braunfels, TX, to perform another show from 8:30 PM until midnight! Hope to see you there!
Moonshine & Ale 7/25/19

Moonshine & Ale 7/20/19
For my second of two shows this evening, I performed in New Braunfels, Texas, with Tommy and Jay. For some reason, it was blistering hot in the club, but that didn’t stop the people from dancing and singing. The floodgates on our requests opened as soon as we started the show at 8:30 PM. We were getting requests right up until our last song at 1 AM! I guess now, I’ll go home and take a shower.

Darwin’s Pub 7/20/19
My first of two shows today was in Austin, Texas, from 3PM to 6PM on 6th Street. I play the alphabet game with the crowd, which they enjoyed. For those of you who don’t know what the alphabet game is, I guess it’s time you come see one of my shows. My buddy Joe Resnick showed up toward the end of my show to get a few things together because he’s playing at Darwins this evening!

Typhoon Texas 7/19/19
Gray Gregson, Chris Wallis and I performed a dueling pianos show in Pflugerville, TX, this afternoon. Swimmers swam around while we played a couple hours of music for them. It was in the upper 90s, so I’m glad we had some shade to escape into! I just wanted to go jump in the water.
Moonshine & Ale 7/18/19
I played some keys at Live Band Karaoke tonight in New Braunfels, TX! Andre Blissett and Pancho Garza joined me in bringing the backing tracks to life for various singers in the crowd. I had fun with the band, and during the show, an old friend from Indiana walked in! We got a chance to catch up for just a minute after the show. Small world.

Darwin’s Pub 7/17/19
I performed a Happy Hour show in Austin this afternoon from 3p-6p. People trickled in as I ran though a bunch of tunes. I met some folks from Wyoming and some from Wisconsin, all of them giving me some great requests for tunes I hadn’t played in years. “Owner Of A Lonely Heart”, “Up On Cripple Creek”, and “Ride Like The Wind” are just a few examples.

Corpus Christi Moonshine & Ale 7/13/19
Another huge crowd in Corpus Christi tonight for the piano bar show with Rachel Solomon (and Art on drums). It was a long show, but full of random fun moments with all the different people who were hanging out with us. A bride joined us on stage. Then, I played a couple tunes on the keytar. Rachel had them singing along all night. But I’m extremely tired, so I think it’s time for bed. Night, Corpus!

Corpus Christi Moonshine & Ale 7/12/19
Night 2 of 3 in Corpus Christi, Texas, with Rachel Solomon went great! We were joined midway through the night by drummer Art Saucedo, and the three of us kept the crowd moving all night long. Venmo and paper requests were streaming in from 8:30p-1:30a, and before I left, a lady asked me to go play in Japan someday. Someone else tipped us with a yoga coupon an .27¢ so, I got that going for me.

Corpus Christi Moonshine & Ale 7/11/19
This marked my first show at the new club in Corpus Christi, TX, and it was my first show with musician Rachel Solomon! It was fun show, and I’m looking forward to the big weekend shows. After we were done, I headed back to the hotel, where I am having a hard time telling where the wall ends and the ceiling begins.

Moonshine & Ale 7/6/19
Hailey, Ryan, and I entertained the people in New Braunfels, TX, tonight. Lots of requests were made and played! Tonight marked the longest run I think I’ve ever had in one spot: it was my 8th show at Moonshine & Ale in 10 days! Normally, I travel around a bunch, but it just worked out this way this week. I like this club a bunch!

Moonshine & Ale 7/5/19
Tommy and I teamed up in New Braunfels, TX, tonight to take requests from the crowd. The first hour was nothing but oldies, but the crowd sang every word. Eventually, bachelors, bachelorettes, and birthdays began celebrating with us, and before we knew it, our show was over. Good to have serious energy in the room!
