Groove Labs Zoom 7/30/20
Reunited! Heather and I played an event on Zoom from Groove Labs warehouse in Austin this afternoon for Atlassian. We all properly social distanced, and we wore our special face masks when we weren’t singing. Chance wore his after dropping Heather off to do the performance with me. It was a four-camera shoot, with a nice big monitor in the middle for us to be able to read requests from all the zoom participants. We had lots of requests and many very nice compliments as we performed. Thanks to Beth and the crew at Groove Labs for another professional and awesome job on the production!

Quarantine Keys 7/29/20
It’s amazing how just a few people can bring your spirits up. I’ve had a bit of a hard time, like many of us, dealing with lockdown. I’m so comfortable performing and being on stage that it’s hard to sit in a room by myself and play, but when I have friends and fans and friendly strangers all joining in on a conversation during a live stream, I get re-energized. I got to play some ELO for Jeff Lynne tonight, which made me happy, even if it wasn’t the same Jeff Lynne. My wife and my work-wife both joined me, and I had the opportunity to perform a ton of stuff I wouldn’t normally get to do. This weekend, Heather and I will be together for a few online shows, so that has me excited. In 2020, I’m just trying to make it from one moment to the next!

Twitch 6/26/20
It was just Christine and I on my first Twitch stream tonight, but that’s fine. I went on primary to test my feed and see how the platform worked. I ended up playing the Sgt. Pepper album in its entirety for her dad, who was listening with her. It was a fun way to see what the new (to me) service was like!
Live Stream 7/25/20
Saturday night, two-and-a-half hour livestream on Facebook tonight was full of people from Indiana and Texas. I played a bunch of tunes for my partner Heather. I was trying to play songs she’d never heard me do. I might continue that goal at a later date!

Live Stream 7/24/20
I love love love when people get involved in my show! Wish I could be with everyone on a stage somewhere, but until then, I’ll continue live-streaming like I did tonight on Facebook. Samantha sent me a video of her singing along to my performance of “Something To Talk About”, and it made my night! I’m glad that I can still connect with people even while distancing.

Quarantine Keys 7/22/20
I played a couple hours on the QK page tonight! Not a lot of people were logged on during my late Wednesday show, but the few there kept me busy with requests. I had some Beatles, U2, Men At Work, Frank Sinatra and more asked for and played. I’m so happy that I can play songs which make people feel some joy in dark times. I’ll be back on AllRequestPiano’s Facebook page streaming this weekend!

Live Stream 7/17/20
Heather jumped on the admin side of my epic 3+ hour Facebook livestream tonight and made me laugh all evening. Christine was in the other room and ordered Tiff’s Treats cookies and brought me one mid-stream! I played tons of requests, and really had a great time doing it. Thanks to all who asked for tunes, and make sure to catch Heather’s Facebook Livestream Saturday night at 8p CST. I’ll be doing admin for her!
Quarantine Keys Live Stream 7/15/20
A couple of hours of tunes happened on the QK page tonight! I had some fellow piano players on the feed, and a few new fans! It was a good way to spend a Wednesday night. Props to Amy for referencing the old TV show “Today’s Special” because of my hat!

Live Stream 7/11/10
I was in an unusually goofy mood tonight for my livestream. I had a bunch of fun laughing with my partner Heather who was doing admin for me from her home up near Dallas. The people were sending in great requests, and I tried my best to play them seriously, and mostly succeeded. It was about 2.5 hours of craziness, and I’m glad I could share it with my Facebook friends!

Live Stream 7/10/20
Lots of laughs with me on my Facebook Live Stream tonight! People were conversing and making all kinds of jokes. Heather and Christine were both on doing some admin for me, and it was great laughing with them. I had a bunch of great requests, and I played as many as I could. Thanks to all my regulars for bringing in some new people! My 4-camera setup was obviously overkill, but I wanted to test a new piece of gear, and it worked great! I’m looking forward to being able to use it live with my partner Heather in the near future! #livestream #pianoman #musician #artsinlockdown

Quarantine Keys Live Stream 7/8/20
I had a great livestream on Quarantine Keys page tonight on Facebook! I played a three-hour show with lots of tunes I’d never tried before, including some Bowie and some White Stripes among others. One thing is for certain; I AM too sexy for my hat.

Live Stream 7/4/20
Happy Independence Day! My livestream on Facebook was full of Billy Joel requests tonight, and several Muppet tunes. I love how I can never predict which way the show will go! #muppets #livestream #songrequests #musician
Live Stream 7/3/20
Good show tonight with some fun requests! I played about 3-hours of music ranging from Muppets to Elton John. Although, Heather gif made the online crowd happier than any of my songs did, I think. It’s ok. I used the keytar to hide my tears. Lol!
Quarantine Keys Live Stream 7/1/20
I met some new people on my livestream on the QK page tonight. Great requests from all over the country were made! Also, one of my oldest friends was celebrating his birthday, so it was cool to be able to do some tunes for him. Thanks to Quarantine Keys for having me. I did a nearly 3-hour show, and it only felt like a few minutes!
