Heather and I performed for a private event for wedding planners and wedding entertainment bookers where we were representing Groove Labs. We played from 9p-10p, and the whole event was Mardi Gras-themed. Can’t go wrong with a couple pre-show beignets!

The Beltonian Theatre 1/27/24
Our evening show in Belton, TX, was sold out, and people were there to have fun! Christine took some pictures for us, and she told us everyone was loving our show. Heather and I are happy that once a month, we’ll be bringing our show to the Beltonian. We really love the crowds and all their cool song requests. We had a couple of birthdays celebrating with us, and the whole evening was great!

The Beltonian Theatre 1/27/24
We returned to Belton, TX, for our first of two shows today. Christine was able to ride up with us, so she was able to see the Beltonian Theatre which Heather and I kept talking about. We had fun with the matinee crowd, and we made new fans. I’m so happy we’re able to bring our show to Belton once a month now! Our evening show is sold out, and we go on at 6pm, so I gotta go get ready!

Moonshine & Ale 1/25/24
Heather and I played at Live Band Karaoke in New Braunfels tonight, joined by Mark on guitar. He sounded great, and it was nice to play with him again! We had lots of great singers, and quite a few new faces joining our regulars. After the show, we realized Anna, one of the great servers in the bar, was on her last shift with us. She's going on to work as a dental hygienist, so congratulations are in order!

Kissing Tree 1/23/24
We performed in San Marcos, TX, at Kissing Tree. When they put the tickets up for sale, they sold out in 4 seconds! We always have fun with the crowds there. My favorite request was “Stairway To Heaven”, which had everyone singing along and ended with thunderous applause! Heather sounded amazing, and she had them dancing in the isles. We will be back for another show on February 27th!

Moonshine & Ale 1/20/24
It was another cold night as we took the stage in New Braunfels. Heather and I heated up by playing a bunch of requests from 8:30p-10p, then Jarrett joined us on drums from 10p-1a. There was singing, rapping, celebrating, jamming, drumming and piano-ing. It was a good night!

Moonshine & Ale 1/19/24
Heather and I played lots of requests tonight that we don’t get very often. “Penny Lane”, “Reading Rainbow theme song”, “Sold - The Grundy County Auction Incident” and “One Headlight” are a few examples. My favorite one of the night was “Don’t play Piano Man”, so we honored his request.

Moonshine & Ale 1/18/24
This weather is crazy! It was in the 70s this afternoon, and now it’s back in the 40s for the next few days. Whatever is going on outside doesn’t affect our show. We did our thang at Live Band Karaoke tonight, with guitarist Kevin Humphrey. People were having fun singing with us, which makes the overall show more fun for us!

Moonshine & Ale 1/13/24
We had fun together in New Braunfels tonight! Jarrett Wenzel joined us on the drums, and he kept the groove going all night. We had bachelorettes and birthdays, and lots of people just out having fun. The club began emptying earlier than usual because the weather is supposed to get very cold overnight. By the time we ended, there weren’t very many cars anywhere in town. I’m glad so many people came out to have fun with us before hunkering down for a cold winter’s night!

Moonshine & Ale 1/12/24
I get to perform music for a living to hundreds of people each night of the nearly 200 shows each year with my work-wife Heather, and our schedule stays full. I’ve worked hard to be in this position, and I take it very seriously. Most people remember I meow. That’s the beauty of this show. I practice hard so I can just relax on stage and meow whenever I want. I feel so fortunate to have found an amazing career with an amazingly talented and strong woman. Our next four shows are in New Braunfels at Moonshine & Ale, so hopefully we’ll see you either Saturday, Thursday, Friday, or next Saturday there!

Moonshine & Ale 1/11/24
I had a great time with Heather and Pancho tonight at Live Band Karaoke! We had some fun new people come in to sing with us, and also several new friends who have been back for a few weeks now. Pancho is such a strong guitar player, and Heather and I love any chance we get to perform with him. Heather and I will return to Moonshine & Ale in New Braunfels for both Friday and Saturday night for piano bar, so come hang out with us!

Old Kress Live 1/6/24
Our 2nd of two nights in Corpus Christi was a little slower than our first night, but we still had a good crowd who were asking for good songs. We played from 10p-1a. We’re starting to see regulars pop in each time we’re at Old Kress Live, and we’re looking forward to building up our first weekend of the month in Corpus. We’ll be back February 2nd and 3rd!

Old Kress Live 1/5/24
Heather and I played our first of two nights in Corpus Christi tonight. We had a full room with people dancing throughout the show. Heather and I enjoyed our night, and after the show, we headed to our motel where Chance and Christine were waiting for us! I love when we all get to hang out.

Moonshine & Ale 1/4/24
Our first gig of the new year was in New Braunfels, TX, for Live Band Karaoke. Kevin Humphrey joined Heather and I to round out the band. It was a little calmer this week, but we still had plenty of singers to fill the night. Hope to see everyone next week for some more LBK!

Moonshine & Ale 12/31/23
Our last gig of 2023 took place in New Braunfels, TX! Heather and I were happy that a bunch of our friends and family came out to the show. My wife Christine, Heather’s husband Chance, our drummer buddy Chris, my brother J and his wife Julie all hung out to ring in the new year with us. Chris even jumped up to play a few tunes with us! The crowd loved our show, and we had a blast doing our countdown to midnight with everyone. Happy New Year! Let’s make 2024 a great one!
