Moonshine & Ale 4/26/25

Heather is the best partner. We feed off of each other’s energy, and it makes our shows so much fun. Our crowd tonight started off strong and kept growing throughout the night. We had some great requests even when we first started out including “In The Air Tonight”, “Dancing Queen” and “Big Poppa” to name a few. At 10pm, our friend Jay Russell joined us on drums, and it gave me a chance to play some keytar. We kept the music flowing until 1am, and after taking some pictures with fans, we headed home. It was a good night! 

Moonshine & Ale 4/25/25

We had a packed house for our Friday night show in New Braunfels, TX! Heather and I slammed through a 3.5 hour long show, playing everything from Jerry Lee Lewis to Chappell Roan. I’m so glad everyone had fun with us. Heather and I will return to Moonshine & Ale for our Saturday night show, so join us! 

Moonshine & Ale 4/24/25

We had a good time together at Live Band Karaoke tonight. Pancho, Heather and I helped a bunch of singers though songs from 8:30p-midnight, just like every Thursday. It’s cool when the crowd really appreciates what we do, and we had lots of people tell us just that tonight. Heather and I will return for piano bar both Friday and Saturday nights this weekend, so come on out! 

The Beltonian Theatre 4/18/25

We performed our monthly dueling pianos show tonight in Belton, TX, and it went great. Lots of requests flooded our pianos, and we played a many as time allowed during our three-hour performance. We had a couple of birthdays in the audience, including a young girl who brought all of her friends in the front row, and another woman up in the top of the theater, so there were birthday vibes all over the place! Tons of great songs were requested, including songs from the ‘50s through modern radio hits. Heather and I always enjoy our nights in Belton! 

Moonshine & Ale 4/17/25

Live Band Karaoke was a little nutty tonight in New Braunfels. We had a full room of people ready to sing with us, and enjoyed letting them. A trouble maker came in and quickly was shown out, but other than that, the night went smoothly. Pancho, Heather and I once again rocked the house together, and had lots of nice compliments from the crowd. We'll be back next Thursday to do it all again! 

Moonshine & Ale 4/12/25

We played in New Braunfels again tonight to close out our weekend. Ryan Hall joined us at 10pm on drums, and the three of us played requests right up to 1am. It was a fun show, but now I’m ready for bed. See you next Thursday at Moonshine & Ale for Live Band Karaoke. 

Moonshine & Ale 4/11/25

We had some technical difficulties at the start of the show tonight, but we got them fixed quickly and started playing everyone’s requests. I know I say it all the time, but I love working with Heather, and even through we had a few minutes of a rocky start, we jumped into the show and had a great time together. We’ll be back for more on Saturday night! 

Moonshine & Ale 4/10/25

Pancho, Heather and I had so much fun tonight at Live Band Karaoke! We had bunches of our regulars come out to sing with us, and helped one of them celebrate their birthday. It’s always so nice to see the people we’ve had on stage numerous times before like Wade, Brie, Keisha, Damon, Mikaela, Travis and so many others. We’ve made a lot of friends over the years at this show. It always makes me happy when they come back to sing with us. Also, performing with Pancho and Heather always makes me feel like I hit the musical jackpot. I love them! 

Old Kress Live 4/5/25

Our second of two nights in Corpus Christi went well tonight! We celebrated a birthday and played some Matchbox 20 for her. Heather and I won’t be back for the first weekend in May, but we will return for Artwalk in June! See you then! 

Old Kress Live 4/4/25

Heather and I talked after our show in Corpus Christi tonight about how good our crowd was. We had longtime fans and made some new fans as we played everyone’s requests. We brought a new drum set with us, and we both enjoyed playing it tonight as well. It’s good to have fun with your friends! 

Moonshine & Ale 4/3/25

I got a chance to play my new bass tonight at Live Band Karaoke in New Braunfels. Heather and I both got home from vacation this week, and it was so good to play with her again. Pancho and I also had a bunch of fun playing next to each other and doing total rock star moves all night. Denise filled in on keys, and we had another full house of singers. One of our regulars who sings with us anytime he and his wife are in town from Boston were celebrating their 50th anniversary which was so great to hear! At the end of the night, the manager Trent who has been a good friend at the club for quite a while let us know that it was his last night, which bummed us out a bit, but ultimately it’s a good thing because he’s doing it to be with family more, so we totally understand. We’ll miss him for sure!
