I played the piano bar near NASA tonight known as Rockey’s, with drummer Calvin Parker. I know a crazy amount of songs, and the crowd was testing me in every direction they could. I let my hair down for a stirring rendition of “Pony”, I made the crowd sit silently while I played some Norah Jones, they danced like crazy people to “Copacabana”, bopped in their chairs to some Notorious B.I.G., and did my best through a slightly insane version of “Devil Went Down To Georgia”. Calvin followed me in every direction I went, and I got a bunch of compliments after the show!
