South Bend, IN, behind the Gino's East pizza joint, near the Starbucks, in the parking lot, surrounded by newish brick strip-mall buildings, on a riser, facing people in lawn chairs on the pavement, we performed for a crowd in what they call "Heritage Square". It was a good show, and the provided PA sounded great, but I just couldn't figure out what heritage they were referring to. In a hundred years, it will be known as the spot where we played, I'm sure.
