We played in New Braunfels tonight. Heather and I had a bunch of people celebrating things, so we did our best to make their night great. It was a fun show, and I’m looking forward to playing with Heather again tomorrow night in New Braunfels!

Moonshine & Ale 12/11/25
My buddy Tameca Jones popped in to sing with us tonight at Live Band Karaoke in New Braunfels, and then our friend Andrae Blissett came in right after her. They both are great musicians in the area, and I love that we got to share some stage time with them. We had many great singers with us tonight, and I enjoyed playing another fun show with Pancho and Heather. Heather and I will be back to take requests Friday and Saturday this weekend, so come see us!

Rockey’s Piano Bar 12/10/25
I helped out by playing drums tonight in an emergency fill-in situation with piano player David Lee in Round Rock, Texas. I usually keep Wednesdays open, but I figured it was an early show and it was with David, who I haven’t seen in a while. We played for about an hour and a half to a small realtors get together. It was nice to play with David again!

Moonshine & Ale 12/6/25
Heather and I played our show tonight in New Braunfels with our guest drummer, Alex Lugwa. Alex always jumps in and makes transitions easy and fun. Heather of course sounds great all the time, and she had so many people loving her voice again tonight. I was approached by several people on our break who just wanted to tell me how much fun they were having and how much they love our show. Heather and I take a lot of pride in what we do, and it makes us feel great when we get such positive feedback throughout the night.

Moonshine & Ale 12/5/25
“Kiss From A Rose”, “Dancing Queen”, “What’s My Age Again” and “Hot And Cold” were all requested and played tonight, I’m always amazed at the wide variety of songs people ask us for. I love the challenge of pulling out songs we don’t always get to play. Heather and I will be back tomorrow night to play a bunch more songs!

Moonshine & Ale 12/4/25
It was Wassailfest in New Braunfels tonight, which overlapped our Live Band Karaoke show by about a half an hour. The place was packed by the time we took the stage, and they stayed there all night long until our last song at midnight. Poncho and Heather sounded great and I’m so happy with what we built together.. Heather will be with me all weekend at Moonshine & Ale, so come request some songs at piano bar, both Friday and Saturday night!

Moonshine & Ale 11/29/25
Our buddy Alex Lugwa joined us in New Braunfels tonight on drums as we took nonstop requests from the crowd from 8:30 PM until 1 AM. Early in the night, somebody came in with a box from the local bakery, and I commented on how good it looked. Within a few minutes, one of our regulars, Leanne, appeared on stage with a box from that bakery for Heather and I. It was such a kind thing to do, and it really made us feel special. We love all our fans and friends, and we look forward to seeing everyone all next weekend again at Moonshine & Ale!

Moonshine & Ale 11/28/25
Moonshine & Ale wanted to do an ‘80s night, so Heather and I put on our best headbands and played our piano show in New Braunfels for a bunch of fun people who also wore their leg warmers and neon shirts! The staff went all-out and looked great. Obviously, we played a ton of ‘80s tunes, and had songs requested by the Police, Billy Joel, Joan Jett, Simple Minds, Journey, Genesis, Tears For Fears and so many more. It was a great time, and I’m so glad the crowd got into the spirit of the show!

Moonshine & Ale 11/26/25
I spent my birthday on stage with Heather in New Braunfels, performing our pre-thanksgiving show! Lots of people hung out with us and requested their favorite songs. I’m so glad I get to perform with Heather for a living. She had the crowd sing me happy birthday, and she always takes care of me!

Moonshine Drinkery 11/22/25
Tonight was fun in Victoria! Josh Holmes filled in for Heather for her last night of vacation, and he did great. We had everything from Merle Haggard to Nina to 38 Special to Beck requested tonight. Josh jumped in with backing vocals whenever appropriate, and it was cool to play a show with my nephew!

Moonshine & Ale 11/20/25
Josh Holmes joined our Live Band Karaoke tonight on bass, and he sounded great! Heather was supposed to be on vacation, but her plans changed, so I was super happy she was able to join me and Pancho. It was rainy most of the evening, so it kept the crowd down, but we still had lots of great singers join us on stage. Heather and I will be back at Moonshine & Ale for a special Wednesday show next week to kick off the Thanksgiving weekend!

Darwin’s Piano Bar 11/16/25
Heather is on vacation this week, so drummer Alex Lugwa joined me tonight to take requests in Austin, TX, on 6th Street. It was slow t the beginning, but we ended up with a good crowd of people from all over the world. We played songs by James Taylor, U2, The Killers, Queen and a bunch of others. Alex was a bunch of fun to work with. We even got a love note in our tip jar. That always makes me feel good.

The McNay Art Museum 11/15/25
Heather and I performed for a private event in San Antonio tonight. It’s always fun to bring our dueling pianos to new groups. They had a great time as we played their requests! Before the show, we were able to look at some of the exhibits in the museum, and they fed us well. Another great gig for the books!

Moonshine & Ale 11/13/25
I’m always grateful for being able to perform for a living. Pancho and Heather are some of my greatest friends, and to share the stage with them feels like I won the lottery. Then on top of that, we’ve built Live Band Karaoke into such a supportive and accepting show where everyone is welcomed and encouraged, and the crowd really understands that vibe. Tonight was really busy because so many people were in town for Wurstfest which happens just a few blocks away. The locals stepped up and showed our out of town guests how to treat each singer, and everyone had a good time. As a bonus, a band from Germany came in (on their night off from performing at the festival) and sang a couple of songs with us, which was fun. I truly thank everyone who makes Live Band Karaoke so special!

Rockin J Piano Bar 11/8/25
We drove into Cedar Park tonight for our show at Rockin J Piano Bar, and when we came around a corner on the highway, the moon was so large and orange, Heather and I both gasped out loud! I tried to snap a pic, but it came out blurry, but it’s easy to see how large it was in the road. Heather took a great clear picture of it when we stopped, but it’s hard to see how big it was. Anyway, our show was attended by a bunch of people we haven’t seen in a bit, like the glowstick brigade, and some of our fans who’ve seen us since our first shows at Rockin J when we brought our keytar and played with drummer Joe Resnick. There were a bunch of birthdays in the house, and a bunch of people out to have a good time. The last hour was non-stop requests coming in, and we did our best to hit as many as we could before we had to end. We played a little over our end time to try to squeeze in a few extra songs because we had so many! A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of the people who come to see our shows. It means the world to us whenever we walk in and see a bunch of smiling familiar faces in the crowd!

Rockin J Piano Bar 11/7/25
Our Cedar Park show at Rockin J Piano Bar was a bunch of fun tonight! We had lots of requests for ‘90s rock tonight, and a bunch of ‘70s dance hits, too. We made several new fans, one of which wanted us to play their wedding, but we were already booked. It was really nice to be asked, as it always is whenever we get to perform for people’s big day. Heather and I will be back tomorrow night to do it all again!

Moonshine & Ale 11/6/25
I played bass tonight for Live Band Karaoke in New Braunfels. Heather drummed and Pancho played guitar while Julia Chisholm from Boston was on keys. We had a good time together. It’s always fun playing bass for the show. We had lots of our regulars join us tonight to sing, and everyone sounded great. This weekend, Heather and I will be performing in Cedar Park at Rockin J’s. Come see us!

Darwin’s Piano Bar 11/2/25
We performed on 6th Street in Austin, TX, tonight for our friends at Darwin’s Piano Bar. We’ve performed there many times over the years for CJ, the owner. It was nice to get a chance to talk with him a bit before our show. We made new fans, and played from 7:30p-10:30p. Afterwards, we walked down to visit our friends at Pete’s, and check out one of our favorite shops which is located right next door. It was a fun night!

Moonshine & Ale 11/1/25
It’s November, and we started off the month by playing in New Braunfels at Moonshine & Ale (with drummer Ryan Hall). We had some odd and fun requests tonight. I played everything from Johnny Lee and Elvis to Eminem and Kpop Demon Hunters. Heather was rocking songs by Olivia Newton John, Pitbull, and Cyndi Lauper to name a few. Ryan rocked all the songs tonight, and nearly pulled a muscle playing some Devo with us. You just never know what will be played at one of our shows! Tomorrow night, we perform at 7:30p at Darwin’s in Austin on 6th Street. Come see us!
