Rockin J Piano Bar 10/30/21

Lots of people showed up in costumes tonight in Cedar Park. We played our 3-hour long show, and it was full of unusual requests. The first song of the night was Paul Simon’s “Kodachrome”, and the requests all followed in randomness. Heather and I have one more show to celebrate Halloween proper tomorrow night in New Braunfels!

Moonshine & Ale 10/29/21

Some sports were on, but Heather and I pulled the attention towards the stage tonight in New Braunfels! I love performing with Heather, and we made each other laugh all night. I was dressed as Elton and she put together a mermaid outfit for our first of three Halloween shows this weekend!

Moonshine & Ale 10/28/21

I flew in from Indianapolis this afternoon, and Heather picked me up at the airport after she landed there a couple hours ahead of me from her trip to Florida. We hung out and looked at pictures from our trips before heading to Live Band Karaoke in New Braunfels. It was a good show! I started the night on drums, then Heather and I switched while Pancho held down the guitar parts. Heather and I will be back tomorrow and Sunday night foe piano bar!

Moonshine & Ale 10/22/21

Heather and I were joined by Michael Carrandi tonight in New Braunfels for our show! We rotated instruments, sang harmonies with each other, and just had a good time overall. Heather and I went to a Halloween store before the show and decided we needed matching skeleton shirts. So we wore matching skeleton shirts, just like we will on all major holidays.

Moonshine & Ale 10/21/21

I played drums for Live Band Karaoke tonight, while Heather held down the keys. Pancho only played the fanciest of guitar licks, and we had fun bringing up singer after singer all night. I’m always happy when a night goes smoothly like it did tonight!

Moonshine & Ale 10/16/21

Most of the people at our show in New Braunfels tonight were marking their first time seeing our show, Heather, Chris and I put on the best show we possibly could for them and had fun doing it! They danced, sang, and requested tons of songs. My life is better for performing with amazing people like Heather and Chris!

Rockin J Piano Bar 10/15/21

We played in Cedar Park, TX, tonight at one of our favorite spots. The crowd requested some different stuff, and we played all we could! There was a small Halloween tangent, because…October. So much fun with Heather!

Moonshine & Ale 10/14/21

Heather and I traveled to New Braunfels tonight to be the backing band (along with Greg on guitar) for Live Band Karaoke. Did we have tons of singers? Yes. Did we have fun? Yes. Did everyone who put up a slip get to sing? No. Did that make someone go full Karen?

Did it??

ANSWER ME!?!???!!!!!

Moonshine & Ale 10/9/21

I know it’s been a great show when the compliments from the crowd and the staff were non-stop! Heather and I were joined by our friend, drummer Chris Wallis, and the three of us played our hearts out. It was a great ending to a great weekend! We’ll be back in New Braunfels next Thursday for Live Band Karaoke.

Moonshine Drinkery 10/8/21

Heather and I made our triumphant return to Victoria, TX, and it was a fantastic night! We had a packed house with lots of friends and fans who returned to see us. We ended up playing an extra hour, and then had to catch up with a bunch of people before we loaded out, so it ended up being a very long and very enjoyable day. I think we’re probably gonna end up coming back to Victoria on a semi-regular basis!

Moot Music Cafe 10/8/21

The Moot Music Cafe had us back on for a livestream today from 2p-4p Central. We played a bunch of Halloween tunes, and I even broke out a skull mask for a song! Heather made me laugh through the whole thing. It might be worth a re-watch.

Moonshine & Ale 10/7/21

Live Band Karaoke was kinda nutty tonight. Heather, Pancho and I were joined by a room full of eager singers. We had a couple of minor gear issues which we resolved quickly. Then at our break, Heather and I swapped instruments, and I had people who’ve seen me countless times say they’ve never heard me play drums. Towards the end of the evening, a scuffle broke out and was shut down faster than it started, and we finished up strong with our last few singers! As I said; nutty!

Sweet Home Hall 10/2/21

Another great show happened tonight in Sweet Home, TX! We had fans in the crowd for our 2nd time performing here, and we made a bunch of new fans by the end of the evening. When we first started, there were some families with kids in the crowd. One little girl bought our coloring book and made a point to give us a couple of pages she’d finished, which was sweet. So many great requests hit the piano that we ended up going over our time by quite a bit to try to get through them all. Heather is the best partner I could ask for, and she rocked the house with me all night long!

Seguin Bar & Billiards 10/1/21

It’s October 1st, and I’m excited for 31 days of Halloween! I started the day by heading to Spirit Halloween with Christine and Heather where we bought lots of random scary stuff. Heather and I then headed for Seguin where they had a great display set up in the front corner of the bar for a photo opp, which we took advantage of before we played our show. We met some people and made some new fans. One couple was celebrating their 8th anniversary, and before they left, they made a point to tell us it was the best night they had ever had together and really appreciated our show. In fact, the woman loved us so much that she gave Heather her necklace. It was a very sweet gesture, and it’s things like this that make this all worth while!

Moonshine & Ale 9/30/21

Tonight at Live Band Karaoke in New Braunfels was unusual because we had a four-person band! I covered the drums while Heather showed off her bass skills. We were joined on stage by Pancho on guitar and John Tuck on keys. It was fun for Heather and I to be the rhythm section for the band as we cycled through all the singers who wanted to join us on stage!
