AJ's Ale House 4/25/15

I was the drummer this evening in New Braunfels, backing up Tommy Raye on piano. Good crowd and lots of energy made the night fly by. It was fun for me to watch another piano player work the room in his own way. Tommy did well, and I had fun laying down the rhythm!

AJ's Ale House 4/24/15

I had a great time performing with the extremely talented Chris Wallis on the drum set tonight in New Braunfels! Between the two of us, we slammed through an amazing amount of songs. Rap, rock, country, and pop were all represented this evening. It's been too long since I've had a chance to gig with Chris, and I was happy to perform with him this evening!

AJ's Ale House 4/23/15

New Braunfels was quiet tonight, but I still played a full show for the people at AJ's Ale House. The construction is really shaping up, and it will be exciting to see how the club looks when it's all done!

Guero's 4/22/15

So much fun tonight was had at Guero's in Austin, TX with The Hill Country Gentlemen as we played live on-the-air for Sun Radio 100.1 Texas Radio Live! The band was on it, and the people watching couldn't stay in their seats. They jumped up and danced every chance they could! We were interviewed by David Arnsberger live in between songs about general band info and such, and it went great. We were the second of two bands on the radio show, the first being Mayeux and Broussard, and the sounded fantastic.

Mikey Gammon and I had a crazy night in New Braunfels, Texas tonight! Everyone seemed to be celebrating something, so we joined in and celebrated with them. The crowd asked for not one, but two drum solos during the course of the night, so Mikey obliged. One of the tunes which went over best was "Jailhouse Rock", as everyone joined in with their best Elvis impression. Thanks everyone for another great night!

Taxi's Piano Bar 4/17/15

Mikey Gammon and I played in San Marcos tonight. We had a decent crowd considering the weather wasn't the best. "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" was requested twice, which was odd, but hey, the crowd enjoyed it. Mikey and I locked in on a bunch of grooves, so it was a fun performance for us, too!

AJ's Ale House 4/16/15

A rainy night made for a slow night in New Braunfels. The few who braved the weather and I had a good time together, though. I was happy to perform the people's requests for them, and I'll be back to do it again this Saturday!

Muddle 4/11/15

The amazing Joe Resnick joined me in Waco, Texas tonight for another great all-request piano show! We had a serious crowd from our first to our last song, with lots of birthdays, bachelorettes, and tons of people in togas. A big thank you to the waitstaff at Muddle for keeping everything running so smoothly this evening.

AJ's Ale House 4/10/15

Mikey Gammon and I rocked New Braunfels tonight! We had a solid crowd with lots of great requests. It seemed to me we had an unusual amount of '50s rock tonight. People danced to everything we played! Mikey rocked it, as usual, and I went home happy!

HEB 4/10/15

From 6p-8p, I had the privilege of playing drums for The Hill Country Gentlemen at my H-E-B. Not yours. Mine.
Jeremiah, Troy, and Kevin sound great, and as always, I had a great time! Now I'm on my way to play piano in New Braunfels, Texas!

AJ's Ale House 4/9/15

Big changes in New Braunfels at AJ's Ale House! They are remodeling, and it will look great when it's done. I went about my show as I do every Thursday, and the crowd steadily grew all night. Sarah, one of the waitresses, is moving to California tomorrow, so it was nice to see her one last time tonight. Thanks to the crowd for hanging out during construction!

Taxi's Piano Bar 4/4/15

It was the night before Easter, and all through the bar, requests were flying and filling our tip jar. It was my first night back at Taxi's in a while, and since then, they moved the stage & redid their sound system, and it was great! I was happy my wife, and my brother & sister-in-law were able to make it out for the first part of the show. Fun in San Marcos!

Phoenix Saloon 4/3/15

The Hill Country Gentlemen held a CD release party in New Braunfels, Texas tonight. The new CD (which is also available on iTunes and CDBaby) is called "Don't Belong Here". We were joined on stage by Ian Lee on fiddle. The crowd was very supportive of our new effort and all of our new tunes. I really enjoy gigs with these fellows, and tonight was no different. We all stuck together and made a solid night of music!
