AJ's Ale House 5/30/15

This was my last show at AJ's Ale House before they re-brand the club as Moonshine & Ale starting next week. Mikey Gammon played mad beats at the people, and it was fun playing with him, as always. He's a talented fella, and it's cool to see the crowd's reaction to his antics. The club was packed out tonight, and I'm excited to see the big club changes coming next week!

Taxi's Piano Bar 5/29/15

San Marcos was slow tonight, but Taxi and I still performed for the people who came out to have a good time. We had one person face-plant after a bit too good of a time, and everyone else remained upright and dancing. I had a few friends join me at the show, too, which is always nice. Hope everyone comes back out to Taxi's soon for some more great shows!

AJ's Ale House 5/28/15

Tonight in New Braunfels, I played lots of 80s pop tunes for some odd reason. Prince, Yes, Men At Work, Michael Jackson, Toto, Policeman  and many more were requested. I played them all, but now I feel like I need to go home and Jazzercise.

Jack's Roadhouse 5/23/15

Record-setting rain and flooding in San Marcos didn't stop DanHolmesGroup from entertaining the crowd (and each other) last night. The guys all played with skill and precision, and many songs were opened up and jammed out!
We loaded in during the rain, played during the first wave of the storm, and loaded out during a brief clearing of the sky. The best part of last night for me personally was looking out in the crowd to regularly to see my wife singing along to my songs. She took some great photos, and then afterwards, we went to see how flooded our river was, and take a few pictures there, too.

AJ's Ale House 5/22/15

Yeah! New Braunfels was kickin' tonight! Golden Mickey a.k.a. Michael "not a girdle" Gammon was on top of the show as he played drums and even rapped for the crowd. People sent up non-stop requests, and we played as many as time allowed. A big thank you to all who danced, sang, and generally stayed happy all night long!

AJ's Ale House 5/21/15

It was a pretty good Thursday night show in New Braunfels last night! Some of my favorite regulars were in the house, plus a bunch of people out just for the fun of it all. For some reason, one table was super loud from note-one (in a good way), and one lady was a little to touchy-feely (not so much in a good way). Everyone left happy, so I did my job well!

AJ's Ale House 5/16/15

So when I sang "Get Down Tonight" this evening, a man jumped on stage with Mikey Gammon and I to literally get down. Impressive splits weren't the only thing witnessed either.

A woman came up on stage and stuffed a request with a few dollars attached to it in her mouth.

A young couple of best friends had a standing/sitting competition for their birthdays.

Sunny danced for her birthday. Everyone now knows Sunny.

A woman pretended to be a different woman to help a third woman celebrate her birthday.

So many things happened while we played "Coppacabana", "Enter Sandman", "Summer Lovin'" and "Shake It Off" that it all became a blur. Fun show, especially since some of my family and friends came out to hang!

AJ's Ale House 5/14/15

I took a bunch of great requests tonight in New Braunfels from the crowd. Pop 80s and classic rock seemed to dominate the night. The only thing which made the night a little difficult was the piano had some keys which weren't working, so I had to think about every song's key before I played it so I could dodge the bad keys! Yikes!

The Woodlands Live At Night 5/9/15

DanHolmesGroup traveled to The Woodlands to perform at their concert series from 6pm-8pm called Live At Night. We had a fantastic time playing tunes from all of our records, including "Something's Going Down". Ian Lee on guitar, Kevin Humphrey on bass, and Chris Wallis on drums made my job easy and lots of fun. Those fellas know how to play!
My wife went with us to take some great photos and hang out at our merch table, and to meet up with our friend Lori who was in town from Indiana. Our biggest fan!

AJ's Ale House 5/8/15

Mikey Gammon A.K.A. "Golden Mickey" joined me in New Braunfels to take the people's requests and do as we pleased with them! A few birthdays and weddings rounded out our fun evening. What's love got to do with it?

AJ's Ale House 5/7/15

Another good night in New Braunfels tonight! Lots of tunes were requested and played. I had a few tunes stump me, but overall, people requested and sang lots of random tunes I haven't played in a while. I'll be back tomorrow night with a drummer for more requests!

Lost Pines Resort 5/2/15

Tonight's show was for a wedding reception in Bastrop, Texas for Howl2Go (Howl At The Moon). Dave Lovett was my dueling partner for the evening. We performed from 7 PM through 10 PM, at which point the reception guests all lit sparklers to bid farewell to the bride and groom as they left for the evening. It was great getting to perform with Dave again!

Corpus Christi Country Club 5/1/15

Chris Wallis and I drove to Corpus Christi, Texas to perform at a private event this evening. We put on our tuxes and set up outside by the pool on a beautiful night. The requests soon began flowing in, and before we knew it, people were surrounding us, singing at the top of their lungs. We had a great crowd, and they bright great energy to the show. Chris did a phenomenal job keeping up with odd requests from all over the board, like "Minnie The Moocher", "Sugar", "Allentown", and "The Scientist"! Always fun to gig with him.

AJ's Ale House 4/30/15

New Braunfels was empty tonight. The Spurs were playing, and I think many people were home watching the game. I still played a full show for my small, happy crowd! Thanks to those who hung out with me tonight!
