Private Party 9/26/15

Super-fun show tonight in Katy, Texas! I played a house party for friends of my brother and sister-in-law, and they partied down. Dancing and singing were the way most people communicated for about three hours. Thanks to all for a great show!

Moonshine & Ale 9/25/15

We did a truly amazing amount of requests tonight in New Braunfels! The crowd started bringing them up early and often. Mikey Gammon beat the drums like they owed him money, and I tickled the ivories until they laughed and peed a little.
Good times.

Moonshine & Ale 9/24/15

Thursday night in New Braunfels once again found me taking requests in the piano. Bartender Ashley wasn't feeling well when I got there, so soon, Shauna showed up to fill in for her first Thursday night show! The crowd was great and they gave me lots of mostly late 70s tunes to play. I'll be back tomorrow night with drummer Mikey Gammon. Get well soon, Ashley!

Sunset Station 9/23/15

Matt Wilson and I performed a Howl2Go (Howl At The Moon) private show in San Antonio this evening. The crowd was great, and before we took the stage, both of our pianos were loaded down with requests. We played a solid two-hour show for the folks who just couldn't stop singing and dancing. Thanks a bunch to the Parkhill Smith and Cooper people for having us perform!

Moonshine & Ale 9/19/15

Joe Resnick and I played to a packed house in New Braunfels tonight. They were a little quiet at first, but slowly they came around. Lots of singing and celebrating of birthdays and dancing of all kinds. It's always fun getting to perform with Joe!

Taxi's Pianobar 9/18/15

I had fun with Taxi Haskell tonight in San Marcos. We had a good crowd with lots of requests. Both at the beginning and at the end of the night, we had "Brickhouse" and "September" requested. Most gigs, neither one of those are requested, but tonight, two different waves of people asked for them. Fun night!

Moonshine & Ale 9/17/15

Purple. I wore it. Yep. I did. Not one request came up for anything Prince. No purple anything at all. Just some nice people with nice requests which I played in my nice suit.
Nice.

Down South Railhouse 9/15/15

Mikey Gammon and I met up in Kyle, Texas to perform a request-piano show tonight (after I performed on the radio with The Hill Country Gentlemen). We had a good crowd with lots of requests, many dancers, and it was nice enough outside that they kept the doors open, which made a nice breeze. Tonight marks our last scheduled performance at Down South Railhouse, but I'm sure we'll be back in the near future. Thanks everyone!

KDRP 103.1 fm 9/15/15

The Hill Country Gentlemen rocked the airwaves today on Sun Radio! 8p-9p, the show had us perform four tunes from both of our albums. It was a good way to begin my evening of music. Now, I'm heading to Down South Railhouse to perform an all-request piano show!!

Muddle 9/12/15

Mikey Gammon carpooled with me up to Waco, TX to play a bunch of requests tonight. We talked the whole way up to the show about our favorite hobbies, and on the way home, about our previous musical endeavors with various bands. The requests tonight or all over the board from Elvin Bishop to Coolio. It was a good end to a long weekend!

Moonshine & Ale 9/11/15

Mikey and I made some music together tonight in New Braunfels! We had a bunch of good requests hit the piano, which always makes the night easier. Tomorrow night, I'm heading to Waco to play another show with Mr. Gammon!

Moonshine & Ale 9/10/15

I had them dancing tonight in New Braunfels. Several great requests graced my piano, and I was invited to perform at a private event. Even though it was a slower evening, I still had a great time with the folks in the crowd! Thanks everyone!

Down South Railhouse 9/8/15

Mikey Gammon helped me woo the crowd with amazing renditions of random tunes tonight in Kyle, Texas. Life on Mars. Jealous Guy. Hit the road, Jack. All played. Fun night!

Middleton Brewery 9/7/15

Ian Lee and I played from 4p-7p tonight, and it was a blast! We started out the night with a few softer tunes and some original material, then took a break. When we came back on, we spontaneously decided to play a full set of Beatles tunes to an astonished crowd. It was truly a fun night!

Taxi's Pianobar 9/4/15

Good times in the basement bar known as Taxi's tonight in San Marcos. Lots of dancers took to the floor as we played their requests. All the standard tunes were played and everyone sang their hearts out! All-in-all, a fun show with Taxi (on drums) this evening!

Moonshine & Ale 9/3/15

Tonight, a Trump piñata made an appearance on stage with a birthday girl, and lots of requests were played. Why weren't you there? Because it was Force Friday at midnight? What? You didn't go to Force Friday at midnight either?! What's wrong with you?! Don't you like singing along to songs and then buying random Star Wars merchandise?

You're making it hard for us to be friends.

Down South Railhouse 9/1/15

What a fun way to usher in September, mainly with the song, "September". All the requests we were given tonight were interesting and unusual, but Mikey Gammon and I tackled them all. We also got lots of requests from my favorite band, The Beatles. I love when the crowd likes Beatles tunes. Makes my night fly by!
