Horseshoe Bay Resort 3/30/22

Corp for Mid-States Distributing had a golf tournament in Marble Falls this week, so we capped off the event with a dueling pianos show on a beautiful Wednesday evening, where we were representing NY/NY Dueling Pianos. The crowd was very interactive and ready to sing and dance with us, which was fantastic! People were raving about our show after we finished, and that made Heather and me feel great! 

Moonshine & Ale 3/26/22

We returned to New Braunfels for our third night in a row for some fun-filled request-taking! Tonight, we were joined by our buddy Chris Wallis on the drums, which allowed Heather and I to play some keytar and do some harmonies behind the piano together. I captured lots of great moments tonight, so I picked a few of my favorites to post. It’s actually very easy to get good shots. All you have to do is love the people you take pictures with! 

Moonshine & Ale 3/25/22

Do you have any idea how much fun it is to work with one of your best friends? I’m so fortunate to work with Heather because no matter what is happening in our lives, joy comes through on stage. The crowds always can tell that we’re having as much fun performing as they are listening. Tonight in New Braunfels was full of laughs and great music. Heather rocks! 

Moonshine & Ale 3/24/22

Live Band Karaoke was pretty busy tonight, and we did our best to bring everyone up who wanted to sing. Heather and I will be back for piano bar both Friday and Saturday this weekend, so we’ll see you in New Braunfels! 

NAS Kingsville 3/18/22

Heather and I traveled to Kingsville, TX, tonight to represent NY/NY Dueling Pianos at the Naval base. We enjoyed performing our dueling pianos show for the people, and it was great how many wanted to participate with us! I love getting a chance to share the stage with Heather when we have such an appreciative crowd. 

Moonshine & Ale 3/17/22

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! It was an insanely busy night in New Braunfels during Live Band Karaoke. We had tons of people wearing various shades of green join us on stage, one song at a time. Before the show, my brother, sister-in-law, wife, father-in-law, and drummer friend Chris joined Heather and I at Krause’s Cafe for dinner, which was lots of fun! 

Elroy Floyd’s 3/12/22

After our Friday night show near NASA, we stayed at an AirB&B hosted by a couple who were also musicians, do we had a nice conversation with them before heading to our Saturday night show in Angleton, TX. We had some fans show up who’ve seen us in New Braunfels, and they were ready to party! Heather and I had a great time, and we’re heading home for some rest! 

Rockey’s Piano Bar Houston 3/11/22

Heather and I drove out near NASA, south of Houston, to play our show tonight! We did our thing and swapped between piano and drums all night while playing requests like “Right Place, Wrong Time”, “Brown Eyed Girl”, “Roses” plus some Disney and some country. The requests were all over the place! We helped a few birthdays get their party on, like Ian and his friends in this picture.  

Moot Music Cafe 3/11/22

I played a set on Moot today by myself for about an hour-and-a-half while Heather did some family obligations, but she showed up and joined me for the very last song! I played lots of great and unusual requests today, and that’s part of why I always enjoy live-streaming on Moot’s Facebook page!

Thursdays at Live Band Karaoke are always a busy night in New Braunfels! Pancho, Heather and I once again teamed up to provide the backing track for lots of singers. Thanks to everyone who came out! 

Darwin’s Piano Bar 3/7/22

I filled in on piano tonight in Austin, TX, with drummer John Duran on this chilly Monday night! We had people from Boston, Seattle, Marble Falls, and more. John and I played lots of oddball requests like “The Stranger”, “What’s Love Got To Do With It”, and “Southern Nights”. My buddy Chris Wallis came with me to the show, and he took this great picture for us after the show. Thanks, Chris! 

Sweet Home Hall 3/5/22

Our show tonight was at Sweet Home Hall, and the people there showed up ready to party! They gave us lots of great requests, everything from Snoop Dogg to Jerry Lee Lewis (and that was just the first two songs). Heather and I enjoy each time we’ve headed to Sweet Home, and we always meet cool, new people there. Tonight, our most energetic crowd member was Dylan, and his energy was non-stop!!!

Moonshine & Ale 3/4/22

Heather and I always have fun, and tonight in New Braunfels, we proved it to the crowd! We made each other laugh through all of our random requests. A couple of birthday parties rounded out our night, and then we headed back to my house for endless rounds of Bananagrams. 

Belmont Village Senior Living 3/4/22

Kenny and Paul invited me to perform a gig this afternoon in Austin, TX, with their band, Gumbo YaYa. All the seniors at the facility did a second line parade out into the dining area while we played the first song, “When The Saints Go Marching In”, and we continue the Mardi Gras celebration for an hour. It was a fun afternoon!

Moonshine & Ale 3/3/22

We performed for Live Band Karaoke tonight in New Braunfels. Lots of singers wanted to join us, and we got up as many as time allowed. Pancho sounded great on guitar, and Heather and I swapped between keys and drums. We’ll be back for piano bar tomorrow night! 

Moonshine & Ale 3/1/22

DanHolmesGroup brought the funk to New Braunfels for Mardi Gras tonight! This was the first time I brought the band to Moonshine & Ale, and we had lots of fun playing original tunes and Mardi Gras classsics from 8:30p-midnight. Kevin Humphrey played guitar, Charles Cruz played bass, and Chris Wallis played drums while I did my thing on the keys. Thanks to the staff at Moonshine & Ale for hosting us tonight, and I hope we get to come back sometime for another full band show!
