Moonshine & Ale 6/28/25

What a fantastic night! Heather and I woke up in Hillsboro, TX, this morning after gigging in Oklahoma the night before, and we drove home for a couple hours, then met up with drummer Ryan Hall in New Braunfels to play to an absolutely packed house full of people singing along to every request they sent up. One bachelorette party gave us some cowboy hats and sashes to wear, which we gladly did while playing their songs. It was a great cap to a very busy and fun weekend! 

The Grand Casino and Resort 6/27/25

We had some downtime before the private event near Oklahoma City tonight, so Heather and I wandered around the casino before landing in our green room for a few hours. We had a great show, and we enjoyed performing with drummer Julien Boussontie. I loved the unusual requests we had like Beck’s “Where It’s At”, Blind Melon’s version of “Three Is A Magic Number”, and the double Phil’s “Easy Lover”. We played two half-hour sets before loading out and heading back to Texas for our show in New Braunfels tomorrow night. Woot!

Moonshine & Ale 6/26/25

It was slamming tonight in New Braunfels for Live Band Karaoke. Pancho, Heather and I played a bunch of songs we’ve not had many opportunities to play before. We also did some behind the scenes adjustments to our computer set up, and it made our performance a little easier which was great. As soon as the show ended, Heather and I drove to Hillsboro to sleep, then it’s on to OKC for our Friday show. We’ll be back in New Braunfels Saturday for piano bar. 

Moonshine Drinkery 6/22/25

Heather and I played our second of two shows in Victoria, TX, this afternoon for brunch from 1p-3p. Brunch was provided by Wild Thyme Bartending and Catering and was delicious. We had a good Sunday afternoon crowd, and got to enjoy catching up with our Victoria friends both yesterday and today. Thanks to Christine for the picture, and thanks to all the people who came out to enjoy the day with us! 

Moonshine Drinkery 6/21/25

We played in Victoria, TX, tonight after the Pride event downtown. Christine came with us, and she took some great photos. By the end of the night, the place got pretty packed, and we had lots of dancers and requests. It’s always fun when we get a chance to come back to our favorite spot in Victoria. The staff and the people are always so great, and Heather and I get the most unusual requests. We will be back Sunday for a brunch show from 1p-3p, so come get some food and see our show! 

Moonshine & Ale 6/20/25

Live Band Karaoke on Thursdays in New Braunfels is always a fun time, especially when friends and fans show up to sing with us! We have many good singers this evening, but something was in the air tonight for sure. We had several minor incidences, including the TV nearly being knocked off its stand, some beers spilled, and some other technical stuff, but we powered through those minor inconveniences, and the people were happy. Pancho sounded fantastic on guitar, as always, and Heather kept the night flowing smoothly from the drums. Will be back for more LBK next Thursday. See you then!

Moonshine & Ale 6/14/25

We performed in New Braunfels again tonight at our home-away-from-home, Moonshine & Ale. Heather and I started the night out swapping between keys and drums until 10pm when we were joined by drummer Josh Spence. The show went great, and we helped a bunch of people celebrate birthdays in between all the requests. It was a fun night, and Josh sounded great. Thanks to everyone for hanging out with us once again! 

Moonshine & Ale 6/13/25

I got to play some songs tonight by The Cure, Dolly Parton, Radiohead and many more. Heather rocked some Mariah Carey, Harry Nillson, Evanescence, plus lots of others, too. That’s part of why I love this show. We never know which way the crowd is going to take us, and we both love following the flow. Heather is such a great partner for me, and I love our time performing together. We will be back for more at Moonshine & Ale tomorrow night! 

Moonshine & Ale 6/12/25

Pancho is such a great guitarist and person. Heather is a ball of sunshine and a fearless musician. I’m always happy to share the stage with them. We had a great time at Live Band Karaoke tonight, and we had many great singers. We also got to play some songs which rarely get requested. Thanks to everyone for coming out to sing with us tonight! 

Old Kress Live 6/7/25

Our second of two nights in Corpus Christi was great. Heather and I started off our day by driving from our favorite AirB&B (The Cheap Seats) to Padre Island National Seashore for some beach time. We headed back to our room and got cleaned up, then had some dinner at Thai Spice. We made it over to Old Kress Live about 8ish, and performed to a bunch of people who hadn’t seen our show before, and made some new fans of them. As the night went on, the club just kept getting busier until we ended at midnight, when DJ Zack took over and kept the crowd going. We’ll be back next month for more! 

Old Kress Live 6/6/25

We returned to Corpus Christi this weekend for a couple nights of piano bar! We had many requests right from the start tonight, as well as a couple of birthdays. We also had several people come tell us how much they appreciate our show. That always makes us feel good. 

Moonshine & Ale 6/5/25

Josh Holmes joined us at Live Band Karaoke tonight in New Braunfels. Heather and I had a great time performing with him. We had a busy night of singers! Lots of people put in requests to sing, and Heather kept the show flowing smoothly from the drums. We had some friends and fans in the crowd, including a surprise appearance from my niece, Anna! It was so good to see her and Josh tonight. Pancho will be back on guitar next week. See everyone then! 

Moonshine & Ale 5/31/25

We had another full room for our show tonight in New Braunfels. Heather and I had a good time playing everyone’s requests this whole weekend at Moonshine & Ale. Tonight, we were joined at 10pm by Reese Spano on the drums, which freed me up to play some keytar, and it was fun. Heather and I had a few special requests from the crowd for us to sing together, including “Summer Nights”, “Purple Rain” and “The Chain”. Thank you to everyone who came out to the show tonight. Heather and I will return this Thursday for Live Band Karaoke. See you then!
