We played at a private club in Fredericksburg, TX, tonight. We set up by the pool and took requests from 5p-8p. Lots of fun songs were requested, and there were a bunch of little kids dancing around. It was fun! My super talented wife Christine came along and took a bunch of photos for us. She’s awesome.

Moonshine & Ale 3/19/26
We had a good time at Live Band Karaoke tonight. Not only did we see some of our regulars like Wade, Frank, and Lisa, but we had a bunch of first timers in with us, too. Also, more piano players showed up to hang out with us. It was good to see them! Heather and I play a private event Friday night, and we will be doing our Live Band Karaoke show in Victoria, TX, on Saturday night!

Moonshine & Ale 3/17/26
Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Heather and I played a marathon 4.5 hour long show in New Braunfels tonight, and we had a sea of green-dressed people in the crowd. We had some really fun and great requests tonight. “I Melt With You” was a fun one we don’t normally get. Heather and I put in our all, and we made it through! I hope everyone enjoyed their night!

Moonshine & Ale 3/14/26
Saturday night before St Patrick’s Day in New Braunfels was busy! We had a packed house from our first note, and a bunch of parrot heads who have seen us before brought the party out as soon as we started. Of course we played some Jimmy Buffet for them, and a ton of other songs for everyone. Normally, we have a drummer come in at 10p on Saturday nights, but Heather and I ended up covering the whole night from 8:30p-1am with no breaks. I am exhausted, but I had a great time. Heather and I will be back at Moonshine & Ale this Tuesday at 7pm for St Patrick’s Day!

Moonshine & Ale 3/13/26
Heather and I spent our Friday the 13th together in New Braunfels, TX. We played our piano bar show and took request from the crowd. We had everything from. “Radio GaGa” to “And Your Bird Can Sing” requested. Lots of interesting and different songs mixed in with the standard Journey, Chappell Roan, and Billy Joel requests. We’ll be back to do it all again on Saturday night, and again on Tuesday for St. Patrick’s Day.

We had a good crowd in New Braunfels, TX, tonight for Live Band Karaoke. Tons of people came out to sing with us. Heather, Pancho and I started the night off with a song together, and quickly had a full slate of people who signed up to sing with us. Heather and I will be there all weekend for piano bar, and we will be there on Tuesday for St Patrick’s Day. Come out and join us and request your favorite song!

Muck & Fuss 3/7/26
I'm so happy that I got to perform a DanHolmesGroup show with Heather, Pancho, and Alex tonight. It was a dream team. They all are so talented and humble, and they all are just good people. We played from 7p-10p just after some thunderstorms passed by, so it was in the 50s while we performed. Christine came along and took some great photos of us! I also recorded some of the show, so I'll have fun going through those tracks and listening to the band play through all that funky New Orleans stuff and my originals. Thanks to Muck and Fuss in New Braunfels for having us!

Zeta Beta Tau 3/6/26
We played for the ZBT Mom’s Weekend in Austin tonight! This was our second time performing for them, and they are a great group. We had a bunch of Billy Joel and Elton John requests, and lots of disco and dance stuff, too. Thanks to everyone for making tonight a success, and thank you for having us back. As a side note, when we arrived, we knew some of the security guards from when they worked in New Braunfels, and a couple other people working at the event have seen us at other shows. It’s nice to see familiar, happy faces!

Moonshine & Ale 3/5/26
I played in New Braunfels tonight with Heather and Pancho for Live Band Karaoke once again! It was a little slow, but usually this time of year, that’s normal. Things really pick up after St Patrick’s Day, but we still had a good crowd tonight. Lots of songs we don’t normally get to do were brought up tonight. Speaking of St Pat’s, Heather and I will be at Moonshine & Ale for a special Tuesday night piano show at 7p.

Silverton Community Center 2/28/26
After our show in Cedar Park last night, we drove about 3 hours north, stayed in a hotel from about 3a-11a, then drove about 3.5 hours north to Silverton, TX, to play a private event. Everyone was really nice, and really the only issue all night was how echoing the hall was. It went great even if the reverb was set to 11. Heather is amazing to work with. I love being on the road with my friend. After we tore down, we jumped back in the truck and drove the 3.5 hours back south to stay at the same hotel, and tomorrow, we’ll finish the last 4-hour drive. It’s almost 3:30a now, so I’m heading to bed. G’nite!
