Sixth street in Austin, TX, on a Tuesday evening with Mikey Gammon was a little cold, but we still put on a show for the people. People requested tunes by everyone from Billy Joel to Metallica. I enjoyed performing with Mikey again, and it was entertaining to watch him flip sticks in the air and try to catch them. Before the end of the night, the bartender flung him a water which bounced off the snare drum and hit Mikey in the...well...let’s just say Mikey sings a little higher than he used to now.
